Residential construction has been around for thousands of years, and while materials, tools and processes have changed over that time, the general focus was to find easily sourced materials that cut down on expense, no matter the cost. Speeding up timelines and reducing labor as much where were mantras and focusing on environmental impact came second to a healthy bottom line. We aimed to change that. 

Our construction process is a completely revamped model of the past. MARCH 2023

We have made great progress on our Hunters Point Collective. As the construction of new homes continues, existing homes come closer to completion by receiving their solar panels and sonnenBatterie.

JANUARY 2023

Our community grows as more Hunters Point Homes become equipped with their energy independent technology, bringing them many steps closer to completion.

DECEMBER 2022

We have made great progress on the construction of some of the homesites. More homes have become equipped with solar panels. Homesite 51, our first homesite to begin construction, has closed on its sale.

OCTOBER 2022

We have made progress on some of the interior infrastructure of the community. Construction on our exterior wall has begun. More homes have become equipped with solar panels. We have also made great progress on the construction of some of the homesites.

September 2022

A few more homesites have received solar panels, extending Hunters Point’s step towards full energy independence. Some docks have been installed along our canal. construction on more homesites has begun.

August 2022

Hunters Point Pushes On

We are making great progress at Hunters Point! More homesites have begun construction, adding them to our every growing collective. More asphalt for the community’s interior infrastructure has been laid, and some new landscaping has been planted.

JULY 2022

THE ROAD TOWARDS COMPLETION

The asphalt for our Hunters Point interior roads has been laid, leading us to another milestone in our journey towards the completion of our Net-Zero Collective.

JUNE 2022

THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

The sonnenBatterie and solar panels were installed in Homesite 51, making it the first of the 86 Hunters Point homes have power.  This is the first step towards full energy independency for our Collective.

THE COLLECTIVE GROWS

Our Hunters Point Collective has made great progress in the past few weeks!Spray Foam Insulation is being placed in a few more Aryes. In Homesite 51 the railings, flooring, and kitchen cabinets have been installed. For the collective in its entirety, the road base is being laid and the curbs are forming.

As construction continues, we can’t help but take in the beautiful view. Our Hunters Point Collective is located right on the water, giving our homebuyers beautiful views and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and Palma Sola Bay.

Arye Progress

Our Hunters Point Collective is thriving. Some of our homes have entered the siding phase. Construction has begun on more homesites.

APRIL 2022

SPRAY FOAM INSULATION

In the Hunters Point construction process, we pay strict attention to every sustainable detail of every Arye home. To further our LEED efforts, we use Spray Foam Insulation. Spray Foam Insulation is one of the best options for increasing the energy efficiency of our net-zero homes.The Arye ceiling will have open cell foam of about 7" for an R-value of R-30 and the floors will have open cell foam of about 6" for an R-value of R-20. The walls will have a closed-cell foam of 1" in combination with a fiberglass batt, which equates to an R-26 wall.Closed-cell insulation remains the only FEMA-approved flood-resistant insulation.
